Family Time

Here is a peak at the awesome family shoot I got to do yesterday. This was the largest shoot I have done yet, but because everyone was so good to work with, it was a fun challenge! Thank you again for letting me capture your family together!

A couple days ago I went on a "photo walk" with a friend of mine through the City Hall Gardens and around Mackenzie Trails... here are a few of my favourites from the afternoon.

5 more weeks!

Here a few of my favourites from this afternoon. I got to do another maternity and family shoot and enjoy the great sunshine all at the same time! Talk about multi-tasking! ;-) There are just 5 more weeks until this is a family of four, and if their first little guy is any indication, this coming baby is going to be completely adorable and a bundle of fun! What an awesome afternoon! Another great couple to photograph and a little man to keep us all entertained! Thanks for sharing this time with me! Hope you enjoy the photos!

Lancaster on the Lake

With all the rain we have had lately, the storm drain behind our house is quite full of water... a couple neighbor kids decided to make the most of it this afternoon...

33 weeks and counting!

Here are a few of my favourites from the maternity shoot I did yesterday. It was a little cloudy and it tried to rain us out, but Kim and Matt are good sports and we made it through with just a few raindrops. They were so fun to photograph! We had a lot of laughs and a great afternoon. Thanks again guys!

The Dion Family

Remember the little guy who was 8 days old? Well, this is the rest of his family. I got to take a few more photos of him and a few of the whole family. It is just amazing to see how much the little man has grown in just a couple weeks! Thanks for letting me capture this special time in your family's life!

Here are the first few favourites from my grad shoot yesterday. Gina was a ton of fun to photograph, she had some great ideas and inspirations. Her dad and brother were the best, hauling around an old pew for us to use too. So much fun! I'll post a few more once I have them ready!

A little walk...

I went for a little wander around Bower Ponds today, just for fun, and I managed to see lots of interesting animals. The Mallard was eyeing me up to see if he should fly away or not, but I think I managed to convince him I just wanted a picture. I have never seen a beaver so close before, so as you can imagine, I got a little snap happy. It was hard, but I did limit myself to just one photo for the post. The little yellow finch (I think) was just like a burst of sunshine amid all the gray today and the goose, well, I just love the Canada Goose, I could hardly resist!

Well, I had a lovely morning in the outdoors, but I am off to get some shots with people instead of just nature. Stay tuned! ;-)
